Innovative thinking saves our customers money

Today, I worked on a 2000 Chrysler Cirrus. The defroster isn’t working because the heater is stuck in the off position, and after using my factory scan tool to diagnose the problem as an inop servo on the blend door, I had to dig in to the dash. The labor guide called for removing the entire dash to access the broken piece, but by removing the radio, center console, knee bolsters, glove box, and some trim, and loosening the bolts holding the dash on, I was able to wiggle in there and get to the broken servo. Not only was I able to get her car back to her faster, but I was also able to save her $400 in labor costs.
